Yellowstone in early spring is a dream! We saw bison, elk, and even a wolf near Lamar Valley. Because the group was small, the guide was able to spend more time helping us set up our tripods. The itinerary is very reasonable—it doesn't feel like you're just "checking boxes." The booking platform was easy, though I wish the "Mandatory Fee" ($220) was just included in the upfront price to keep it cleaner. Still, 5 stars for the experience!
A truly civilised way to see the American frontier. Crossing the Sierra Nevadas on the California Zephyr was the highlight—watching the landscape shift from lush valleys to the high desert from the Sightseer Lounge is an experience no motorway can replicate. The transition to the tour van in Salt Lake City was handled with military precision. For those who appreciate the journey as much as the destination, this is the gold standard.
This was one of the best tours I’ve ever done. Yellowstone was full of surprises—the geysers, the hot springs, and wildlife sightings were unforgettable. Mount Rushmore gave me a real sense of American history, while Grand Teton’s jagged peaks were breathtaking. Ending at Arches National Park, watching the sunset light up the red rocks, was absolutely magical.
Highly efficient itinerary for someone with limited vacation time. We covered the California coast, the Sierra Nevadas, the Great Basin, and the National Parks in just one week. The quality of the guide in Yellowstone was superior; he used a high-powered scope so we could see the wolves in Lamar Valley. Transportation was a modern, high-roof van with plenty of USB ports. Very impressed with the organization.
