Captain Cook Monument Map / Location
The bronze statue of the world famous explorer is located within Resolution Park in Anchorage, Alaska. Explorer Capt. James Cook traveled through the Cook Inlet in 1778 on the HMS Resolution. The park is the perfect place to enjoy amazing views of the inlet and Susitna Mountain, or The Sleeping Lady.
