Kotoku-in Map / Location

The Great Buddha of Kamakura is a Buddhist temple located within Kotoku-in. The bronze statue of the Great Buddha, one of the symbols of Japan, was built in 1252, but the original temple was destroyed by storms and tsunamis, leaving only the statue standing.
