This 36,359-acre Utah national park situated along the Colorado River features more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches including its most photographed Delicate Arch. Arches National Park's landscape has been forming and changing for millions of years. It was made a national park in 1971 being previously named a national monument in 1929. Points of interest are Delicate Arch, Wolfe Ranch, Courthouse Wash Panel, Elephant Butte, Courthouse Towers, The Organ, Fiery Furnace, Balanced Rock and Landscape Arch.
