I Went to Argentina without any knowledge of the country or the city of Buenos Aires at all.. Through a good friend of mine I was recommended to visit Tangol Tours and ask them what is the most important and what I really have to see booth in the country and in Buenos Aires. I must say that my expiations where really high on this company since my friend spoke so much of their willing to help and the that want to customer to have a good time. I went to the office and where welcome with a smile on their faces and I felt right away that they really wanted me to have a good time. The staff really listened to what I wanted to have out of my journey. Since they can help me arrange hole of Argentina and also more destinations in South-America I am convinced that I won't find any better Tour operator in Buenos Aires and Argentina. I Will defiantly come back to both the city and Tangol.

FAQs about Bariloche Tours

What is the best time of year to visit Bariloche for outdoor activities like hiking and skiing?

Visit Bariloche between December and March for summer hiking and lake activities, with mild temperatures and long daylight hours. For skiing, go from June to September at Cerro Catedral, which has reliable snow and modern lifts. Spring and fall offer fewer crowds but variable weather. Always pack layers and check trail or ski conditions locally.

How do I get from Bariloche Airport (BRC) to downtown or Cerro Catedral efficiently?

Taxi services are available outside Bariloche Airport and cost around 4,000–5,000 ARS to downtown. For budget travel, take urban bus line 20 to the city center (600 ARS). To reach Cerro Catedral, 23 km away, pre-book a shuttle (approx. 8,000 ARS) or use shared transfers from the bus terminal. Rental cars offer flexibility but require winter tires in ski season.

Is the Bariloche Card worth it for tourists visiting multiple attractions?

Yes, the Bariloche Card offers solid value if visiting 3+ paid sites like Museo del Chocolate, Cerro Campanario, or Arrayanes Island tours. It includes discounts on activities, dining, and transport, with 24/48/72-hour options starting around 12,000 ARS. Check included sites against your itinerary—ideal for first-time visitors focused on highlights.

What should I know about the weather and clothing for Bariloche in winter?

Winter (June–September) brings cold temperatures (0°C to 8°C), frequent snow, and wind, especially at Cerro Catedral. Wear moisture-wicking base layers, insulated mid-layers, waterproof jackets, gloves, and thermal boots. Sunscreen is essential due to high-altitude UV exposure. Always carry gear for sudden weather shifts, even on clear days.
