Best St Mark S Church Tours & Trips

Perched in the heart of Venice’s bustling St. Mark's Square, Saint Mark’s Church stands as a luminous symbol of the city’s maritime grandeur and spiritual heritage. Its opulent Byzantine domes and golden mosaics - glittering under the Adriatic light - draw visitors into a world where art, faith, and history merge. Behind the church, the intimate Campiello del Ponte Seco offers a quiet pause amid exploration. Once the private chapel of the Doge, it houses the revered Pala d’Oro and the Tetrarchs statue, a testament to Venice’s imperial reach. Climbing the south porch offers panoramic views over the square and lagoon beyond. Nearby, the Doge’s Palace and Bell Tower enhance the site’s allure, making this sacred space not just a religious landmark, but a journey through centuries of Venetian brilliance.

17-Day Eastern Europe Tour from Vienna: Budapest, Berlin and Prague | 8 Countries and 14 Cities | 16 Breakfasts, 7 Dinners

Excellent team

We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary for the highlights of Eastern Europe. It had a good balance of activities. As usual, the extra excursions rounded out our experience. We were pleased with the hotels, restaurants, and 'Be Our Guest' excursions. We had the best tour guide – Kate. We feel she went above and beyond, assisting some of the travellers. Her sense of humour, vast knowledge, and personal stories kept us entertained and engaged in our surroundings.

11-Day Croatia and Slovenia Tour from Zagreb to Dubrovnik: Bled and Split | 2 Countries and 10 Cities | 10 Breakfasts, 4 Dinners

Croatia /Slovenia tour

We really enjoyed our Slovenia and Croatia trip. We thought it was very well planned out, and the pace was great. It was wonderful to see lots of different cities and have some great experiences. The travel times were nicely broken up with stops in smaller cities and breaks. We also appreciated not having to change hotels every night. Everything was very well done. The hotels were nice for the size of our group. We’ve already recommended this trip to several friends.
