Best Trogir Tours & Trips

Trogir charms visitors with its remarkably preserved medieval core, a UNESCO World Heritage site seamlessly blending Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. Wander through cobblestone lanes that wind past the ornate St. Lawrence Cathedral, admire the imposing Kamerlengo Castle, and linger by the tranquil harbor where fishing boats bob beside yachts. Located just a short drive from Split and the international airport, Trogir offers a relaxed alternative to busier coastal hubs while maintaining easy access to Croatia’s famous islands and beaches. Cafes spill onto shaded piazzas, local artisans display handmade wares, and the scent of jasmine mingles with sea salt in the evening air, creating an atmosphere that's both timeless and inviting.

Amazing Cultural Experience!

This tour was a perfect introduction to the Balkans. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and every city we visited had its unique charm. Sarajevo’s history deeply moved me, and Dubrovnik’s old town was breathtaking. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a mix of culture and scenery.

11-Day Croatia and Slovenia Tour from Zagreb to Dubrovnik: Bled and Split | 2 Countries and 10 Cities | 10 Breakfasts, 4 Dinners

Croatia /Slovenia tour

We really enjoyed our Slovenia and Croatia trip. We thought it was very well planned out, and the pace was great. It was wonderful to see lots of different cities and have some great experiences. The travel times were nicely broken up with stops in smaller cities and breaks. We also appreciated not having to change hotels every night. Everything was very well done. The hotels were nice for the size of our group. We’ve already recommended this trip to several friends.

FAQs about Trogir Tours

How do I get from Split Airport to Trogir?

Split Airport (SPU) is just 5 km west of Trogir. The fastest way is a 15-minute taxi ride via the D8 coastal road. Alternatively, take Airport Shuttle Croatia or Autotransfer ST minivans - both offer fixed-rate shared transfers. Public bus line 37 also runs between the terminal and Trogir center for under 5 EUR.

Is Trogir Old Town walkable without luggage issues?

Yes, Trogir Old Town is compact and mostly pedestrian-only. Use wheeled luggage with durable wheels, as cobblestones can be uneven. Enter via the Garaza or Kava entrance for easier access. For stays near the marina, routes are flatter. Hotels often assist with short luggage transfers upon request.

What local pass covers Trogir, Split, and nearby islands?

The ISIC Adriatic Travel Card covers ferry discounts, bus travel between Trogir and Split, and partner activities. Otherwise, purchase individual tickets: use Autotrans for buses and Jadrolinija or Krilo ferries for islands. No all-inclusive pass currently bundles all services.

When is the rainy season in Trogir and how does it affect visiting?

The wettest months in Trogir are September and October, with occasional heavy showers. July and August are driest. Rain rarely disrupts summer plans, but autumn visits may require flexible itineraries. Most attractions remain open, and hotel rates drop significantly post-September.
