The Stone Forest was a standout, with its otherworldly rock formations. Erhai Lake was serene and picturesque. Lijiang’s Old Town and Mu Mansion were charming and full of history. The Tiger Leaping Gorge hike was a real thrill, with some ..of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen. Shangri-La’s old town was beautiful and the Songzanlin Monastery was a peaceful retreat.
