This was my first trip and it was a great tour, good choice of activities and I was not disappointed with the accommodation. There was a good mix of ages in my group and we all mixed really well. Hope to book again soon.

This tour is a great way for to either begin or end a New Zealand trip, or even just to take a long weekend away from the big city. Spending two days in the far north town of Paihia is a wonderful way to relax and enjoy a number of activiti..es. I chose to take a day trip to Cape Reinga, the furthest-north point of New Zealand, which included sandboarding and a fish 'n' chips meal. Included in the trip are stops at Tane Mahuta, the largest kauri tree in New Zealand, and the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Accommodation + transport + activity bookings + some meals are taken care of by the guide, so there is very little to worry about while on tour. Our guide Ruth was incredibly knowledgeable about the places we visited as well as about New Zealand history and culture. I recommend this trip to anyone who wants a quick trip or is looking to add on a couple days to another trip in New Zealand. Read full review
